Windows 7 Update – Now PC does not boot and repair does nothing – Windows 7

I am using Windows 7 with SP1 Home on my lenovo laptop. I recently installed some of the windows 7 update and not my laptop is not booting BSOD during windows load before getting any login screen. Apart from windows update there are no other changes to my system. I have tried following things without any luck. No other details like filename are available. I went into repair mode, I have performed chkdisk and everything is normal. I tried repairing windows, it attempted repair for almost 20 min and then gave error “Startup Repair cannot repair this computer automatically”.

I wanted to give recent patch information, but “wmic qfe” command is giving error “no instances available”. Sadly I don’t have any restore point. I don’t even have windows 7 DVD. What I have is recovery option of lenovo which would take my laptop to day 0 which I don’t want. This thread is locked.
