It just hangs. I invoked it two different ways. The language is “installed” but without the language pack, and so useless. THis might be my wacky new laptop that was inoperable, I did a “factory reset” according to Toshiba help.
And now many things seem to work, but still some flaky things in Windows. I think I will have to turn this in a buy a Windows 7 machine that actually works. Firstly, you asked what version is microsoft fix it i used, i used the latest version the same day i posted this thread, i’m afraid i forgot what version it is. So i tried the first method, the clean boot, i tried disabled all non-Microsoft services, disabled all startups from task manager, still no luck on installing them.
Then I tried the second method, unfortunately, no Automatic update service listed on services. Will Windows 8. This site in other languages x.
